Castles in the Sky
Artist : Amira Yamaguchi (amirakioshi ART)
36×48×2.5in
Acrylic paint on canvas
Castle in the Sky is a joyful flight into memory— a vibrant, dreamlike landscape born from a moment of pure, unfiltered nostalgia. As I blended the background with my hands, I found myself transported back to childhood: uninhibited, curious, and completely immersed in the simple pleasure of color and movement. There was no plan, just play. Each swirl and smear became a doorway into that inner world where imagination knows no bounds.
The layered textures and whimsical hues evoke a floating dreamscape something imagined by the child within me, still alive and laughing beneath the surface. Creating this piece felt like building a fortress out of joy and wonder, suspended in time and untouched by heaviness. It's a reminder that no matter how complex life becomes, the freedom and spirit of youth are always reachable-right at your fingertips.
